Found you through link on owlsgathering.com to a review of your Brigid book. I like two things, that you are based partly in NYC (where I once lived and worked and still have family connections), and the other your sense of humor. I’m not sure I’m a witch or a pagan, but am finding “pagan” or nature-based spirituality blogs resonate more with me than any other spirituality at this time (was raised Christian, was into Indian spirituality for a time + Buddhism). Perhaps if I ever have a job again, I will be able to order a Tarot reading (although I do pull my own cards from a Wildwood Tarot deck, and would love to know how to read ordinary playing cards!)

Hi Cindy! Thank you for stopping by! I’d be happy to read for you sometime. Drop me a line whenever you’re ready.

If you’re interested in reading playing cards, I would recommend Charles Porterfield’s “A Deck of Spells.” Good luck!

    Hi Courtney,

I am enrolled in The Sacred Mist College and I want to know if you are still teaching the “Introduction to Spell casting”? This is a course that I really want to take from you. Also do you do WebEx or Skype when you teach these? I find that I am a visual hands on person.
    thank you so much

    Marianne

Hi Marianne! Thank you for stopping by! Yes, I am still teaching the course. 🙂 It’s not on WebEx or Skype but I do correspond by email with my students. It would be great to have you in the class! Hope to talk with you again, soon!

    Hi Courtney,

I met you at Readers Studio in April 2016 in New York. I had seen a beautiful card on my table advertising your book, TAROT FOR ONE. I immediately went to Amazon and pre-ordered the book knowing it would not be released for several months. When I walked over and introduced myself to you and showed you my order you were so gracious and sweet. You hugged me and introduced me to your friends. Well, the book arrived today and I AM DELIGHTED! This is exactly what I hoped for and more. Fantastic book for beginners and experienced tarot readers alike. Well thought-out, perfectly categorized, and full of new and interesting spreads. Bravo!

Thank you so very much! Linda Thompson-Mills from the San Francisco Bay Area

Thank you, Linda! I was so happy when you came over to show me you picked it up. I’m even happier now to know that you’re enjoying it. If you feel so inclined, a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads would be very helpful. 🙂 Thanks again and hope to see you at RS17!

    Hi Courtney,

I just finished your book Tarot for One. It was so well done! There are a lot of books out there on Tarot, but yours was just like taking a class, with homework, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I want to thank you for all the great ideas and tips you put in there. I would imagine it was a long labor of love writing this.

I tried asking the Yes/No questions based on your teaching, unfortunately, I wasn’t doing it correctly, and that was my fault. I noticed I was only looking at the Reversed/Upright positions for a “quick” answer, with only focusing on the 3rd card, if it was not definitely Yes or No. And I noticed I wasn’t asking the questions properly and pretty much did everything I wasn’t supposed to do, based on your chapter about When Not to Read. LOL. Had become too emotionally invested in the answers and panic set in. So giving my cards a well deserved rest right now.

Thank you again for your great book.
